The Build Process
1Design Your Wheel
Choose exactly what you want — full set, front or rear · rim size & style · rim colour · nipple colour · hub colour, plus optional engraving. Every option comes straight from the same manufacturing partners that build wheels for major e-bike brands. The moment you order, your full build sheet is sent to our production team.
2We Build It To Order
Your wheelset is built from scratch — never mass-produced or rushed. Every build goes through:
- Rims inspected for straightness, finish & surface quality
- Hubs checked for alignment, balance & bearing condition
- Hubs & nipples matched to your colours and exact lengths
- Each wheel hand-laced, tensioned & trued by an experienced builder
This stage typically takes 5–7 days depending on complexity, with multiple quality checks before it leaves the workshop.
3Approve Your Build
Before we ship, you receive clear photos of your exact build — sent to the email or phone number from checkout. Confirm the colours, sizing, configuration and finish.
We don't ship until you approve. No surprises — you get exactly what you designed.
4Shipped To Your Door
Once approved, your wheels are packed in a heavy-duty protective box built for wheel transport, then dispatched with tracking. Delivery typically takes 1–2 weeks due to size and weight.
Every shipment is fully tracked and insured, and your wheels arrive assembled and ready to install — no extra work needed.

Custom Wheel Questions
How long does a custom wheel build take?
Hand-building takes around 5–7 days depending on complexity. After you approve your build photos, shipping is typically 1–2 weeks. We keep you updated the whole way so you always know where your wheels are.
Can I change my colours or specs after ordering?
Yes — as long as production hasn't started. Just message us right after ordering with your changes. Once your wheels enter the build stage, the spec is locked to keep your timeline on track.
How do I know the wheels will fit my bike?
You select your exact bike model inside the builder, and every wheelset is built model-specific — never universal. If you're unsure about fitment, message us before ordering and we'll confirm it for you.
What if I'm not happy with the build photos?
That's exactly what the approval step is for. If anything isn't right, we adjust it before the wheels ever ship. We do not dispatch until you've confirmed the colours, sizing, configuration and finish are correct.
Do the wheels arrive ready to ride?
Yes. Every set arrives fully laced, tensioned, trued and quality-checked — bolt them on and ride. No truing, no extra setup, no surprises.
Are custom-built wheels returnable?
Because each set is built to your exact spec, custom wheels are non-returnable once production starts. The build-approval step protects you — you sign off on photos of your actual wheels before they ship, so you get exactly what you designed.
